Salary Range (INR): ₹2,50,000 – ₹6,00,000 per annum (depending on experience and type of hospital)
🎓 Education:
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Social Work / Nursing / Public Health / Healthcare Management (Mandatory)
Certification in Patient Navigation / Care Coordination / Counseling (Preferred)
Strong knowledge of hospital workflows, patient rights, and support services is desirable
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Guide patients and their families throughout the treatment journey, ensuring clear communication and coordination
Help patients understand their diagnoses, treatment options, appointments, and referrals
Act as a bridge between patients, families, doctors, nurses, administrative, and financial departments
Coordinate tests, follow-ups, and procedures to reduce wait times and ensure timely care
Support patients with non-clinical needs, such as transportation, insurance paperwork, or financial aid
Educate patients on hospital services, health literacy, and available social support systems
Ensure patient comfort, address grievances promptly, and promote a positive patient experience
Maintain documentation of patient interactions, escalations, and feedback
Participate in awareness programs, patient satisfaction surveys, and quality improvement initiatives
Uphold hospital policies related to patient dignity, confidentiality, and service excellence
