Content Writer Intern


Position Overview:
As a Marketing and Communication Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop key skills in marketing, advertising, public relations, and communications. This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to various aspects of marketing and communication strategies while supporting the overall objectives of the organization. You will work closely with the marketing and communication team to assist in executing campaigns, managing content, and implementing effective communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in developing and implementing marketing and communication plans and strategies.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for various channels, including social media, websites, blogs, newsletters, and press releases.
3. Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and competitor analysis.
4. Help maintain and update marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and promotional materials.
5. Support the organization's social media presence by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analysing metrics.
6. Assist in organizing and coordinating events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
7. Conduct interviews or gather information to develop compelling case studies and success stories.
8. Monitor and respond to inquiries, comments, and feedback on social media platforms and other communication channels.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and product development, to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
10. Assist in tracking and analysing marketing and communication metrics to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements.
11. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to marketing and communication strategies.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms, content management systems, and marketing tools.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with graphic design software and video editing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing trends is desirable.
- Previous experience in marketing, communications, or related internships is a plus.
