Salary Range (INR): ₹4,50,000 – ₹12,00,000 per annum (depending on experience and accreditation exposure)
🎓 Education:
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Nursing / Healthcare Administration / Public Health / MBBS / Life Sciences (Mandatory)
Certification in Patient Safety, NABH, or JCI Standards (Preferred)
Working knowledge of clinical safety protocols, accreditation standards, and incident management systems
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and monitoring of patient safety protocols across all clinical departments
Track and analyze adverse events, near misses, sentinel events, and medication errors
Coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA), implement corrective and preventive action (CAPA), and monitor outcomes
Educate clinical and non-clinical staff on safe practices, patient rights, and ethical care standards
Support NABH/JCI compliance through audit preparedness and documentation of patient safety indicators
Conduct regular rounds to assess adherence to safety policies in ICUs, wards, emergency, and OTs
Promote a culture of safety by encouraging incident reporting and feedback systems
Prepare periodic patient safety dashboards and submit reports to the hospital’s Quality Council
Liaise with infection control, quality, and risk management teams for integrated safety efforts
Participate in mortality and morbidity review meetings, clinical governance audits, and training initiatives
