Job Summary:
The Product Manager will be responsible for managing the development, enhancement, and overall performance of the sanitaryware product portfolio. This role plays a vital part in coordinating between marketing, R&D, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure the product lineup is competitive, customer-focused, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, ensuring timely product launches and updates.
Conduct in-depth market research and competitor benchmarking to identify product opportunities.
Define product positioning, pricing strategy, and USPs based on customer needs and market dynamics.
Collaborate with design, R&D, and production teams to develop and refine product offerings.
Assist in preparing GTM (go-to-market) strategies and marketing plans for new products.
Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to recommend product improvements.
Coordinate with channel partners and sales teams for product training and promotion.
Support branding, cataloging, technical documentation, and trade engagement tools.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Solid understanding of product development and marketing principles.
Knowledge of the Sanitaryware / Ceramics / Building Materials segment.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and user feedback.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic ERP/PLM systems.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with technical aspects of sanitaryware products (materials, installation, usage).
Exposure to customer insights tools and product innovation frameworks.
Experience working with design and manufacturing teams.
Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, or similar systems for product tracking.
