Job Summary:
The Assistant Product Manager will support the product management team in coordinating new product development, analyzing market trends, preparing documentation, and assisting in go-to-market strategies. This role is ideal for professionals looking to build a strong foundation in product marketing within the sanitaryware industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the product lifecycle – from ideation, launch, to maturity and phase-out.
Collect and analyze competitor products, pricing, and feature benchmarks.
Coordinate with internal teams (design, R&D, production) for timely product development.
Prepare product briefs, technical sheets, brochures, and training materials.
Support in trade shows, customer demos, and sales enablement initiatives.
Help track product performance KPIs and customer feedback for improvements.
Maintain updated product catalogs, inventory status, and release calendars.
Assist the sales team in resolving product-related queries and documentation needs.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Good understanding of product marketing and development processes.
Familiarity with sanitaryware or building materials industry is highly preferred.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Analytical thinking and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and product tracking tools.
Attention to detail in managing technical data, product specs, and documentation.
Preferred Skills:
Hands-on experience with SAP, PLM tools, or CRM systems.
Exposure to working with channel sales or trade partners.
Understanding of manufacturing constraints and supply chain coordination.
