About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Professor in Computer Science/IT to contribute to the teaching, research, and development initiatives at GLBITM. The role involves shaping the academic and professional growth of students and advancing the institution's academic reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver high-quality lectures and hands-on sessions in Computer Science/IT subjects such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, and Cyber Security.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in the field and integrate them into the curriculum.
• Leverage technology to enhance teaching methodologies and improve student engagement.
• Design and deliver programs of study, ensuring excellent academic outcomes.
• Guide students on live projects and ensure skill development through industry-academia collaboration.

Institution Building

• Lead curriculum development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to foster a dynamic learning environment.
• Mentor junior faculty members and guide them in academic and administrative responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards like NBA, NAAC, and ISO.

Research

• Conduct high-quality research, publish in reputed journals, and pursue patents and IPRs.
• Develop and manage research collaborations with institutions and industry partners.
• Lead and coordinate research initiatives in Computer Science/IT.
• Represent the institution at national and international forums.

Qualifications & Experience

• Educational Background:
• ME/M.Tech and BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology with first-class academic records from reputed institutions like IITs, IISc, IIITs, or NITs.
• Ph.D. in a relevant field from a reputed university.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching, research, or industry, with at least 2 years post-Ph.D.
• At least 6 research publications in SCI journals or UGC/AICTE-approved journals.
• Experience in guiding Ph.D. students is desirable.
• Industry and global exposure are highly valued.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong command of Computer Science/IT concepts and hands-on programming experience.
• Competency in nurturing and engaging students constructively.
• Proven research track record with publications, patents, and external funding.
• Excellent interpersonal and content delivery skills.
• Familiarity with academic standards like UGC/NBA/NAAC/NIRF/AICTE.
• Dynamic, energetic, and adaptable with high EQ, IQ, and SQ.
