Salary Range (INR): ₹3,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum (based on experience and hospital category)

🎓 Education:

Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science (Mandatory)

Additional training in Medical Terminology / Healthcare Informatics (Preferred)

Familiarity with PubMed, Medline, Scopus, EMBASE, and Digital Library Portals is advantageous

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Manage the hospital’s physical and digital medical library resources, databases, and subscriptions

Support clinical staff, educators, researchers, and students in accessing up-to-date medical information

Catalog and classify medical journals, e-books, theses, and clinical guidelines using library management systems

Train hospital staff and students in literature search strategies and use of online knowledge databases

Maintain access to national/international journals, e-resources, and subscription renewals

Assist with research support services like citation tracking, reference management, and literature reviews

Ensure copyright compliance and digital archiving of research materials, presentations, and reports

Collaborate with the education and clinical research teams for information dissemination

Maintain statistics on library usage, digital access logs, and report to the Education Director

Provide orientation for interns, residents, and fellows on using library tools and systems
