₹6,00,000 – ₹9,00,000 per annum
(Includes fixed + performance-based bonuses + service charge)
Role Overview:
The Recreation Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and managing recreational and wellness activities in a hotel or resort setting. This role ensures superior guest engagement, safety, and satisfaction by offering dynamic and culturally relevant programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and oversee a calendar of recreational activities for all guest demographics
Lead and supervise the recreation team including activity coordinators, lifeguards, fitness instructors, etc.
Collaborate with spa, F&B, and front office teams to create cross-functional guest experiences
Monitor guest satisfaction and modify programs based on feedback and trends
Ensure safety compliance across all recreation areas (pools, gyms, kids’ zones, etc.)
Manage departmental budgets, vendor coordination, and equipment procurement
Develop marketing and promotional plans for recreational events
Recruit, train, and mentor recreation staff
Support large-scale events, themed nights, and holiday-based entertainment
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Physical Education, Sports Management, or similar field
Certifications in First Aid/CPR, Lifesaving, or Wellness (yoga, Zumba, etc.) preferred
